German researchers have just developed a new technology that is expected to improve the image quality of smartphone cameras. The existence of technology called SmartGlass (which is not a smart glasses) are predicted to make similar shots smartphone into a DSLR camera.
The existence of this SmartGlass technology will serve as an aperture which usually exist on a DSLR camera. Aperture functions have in common with that of the eye iris. Aperture on the camera serves to regulate how much light can enter into the sensor. Furthermore, setting the intensity of incoming light impact on the quality of the resulting image.
Tobias Deutschmann, physicists from Technische Universitat Kaiserslautern Germany said that the smartphone camera currently does not have a component in the form of the aperture. And with the smart glass technology, researchers can deliver smartphone features on the camera aperture. Smartphones will gain many advantages, because it can provide a change in the depth of focus and will be pursing the difference between a smartphone with a digital camera.
Deutshmann with fellow researchers are now developing the components they refer to as micro iris. This component is made of a thin and electrochromic materials or that may be called by the name of smart glass. The material is eventually going to be able to change the transparency in response to light or heat.

I hope I can have one of them
ReplyDeleteyes, just like most people
Deletewow, so cool
ReplyDeleteI would like to have it
